WHO WE ARE
“Peace,” “joy,” “inner freedom…”
We’re all familiar with these concepts, but it can be hard not to be skeptical when we hear friends and influencers talk about them.
After all, we WANT these things, but our experience is often just the opposite — we find ourselves anxious, lonely, and depressed.
Honestly this was once our reality as well.
Until…we met Jesus.
For us, the term: “relationship with God,” is not a theoretical concept; every member of our Cyprès team has been rescued and changed by the very real person of Jesus Christ — we’ve experienced the peace and freedom of knowing Him on an intimate level and our lives are different.
For each of us, there was a point when we were forced to face our own brokenness — to admit our failures and our desperate need for forgiveness — but in the place where we most deserved judgement, we found unexpected mercy in the death and resurrection of Jesus. Receiving His offer of redemption and saying “yes” to His leadership literally changed everything for us.
Jesus says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full,” (John 10:10) and we’ve found this to be unequivocally true.
We still struggle and make mistakes, but where anxiety once ruled our emotional lives, we’ve found peace in Jesus —where shame and loneliness once ruled, we’ve experienced forgiveness and unshakeable love. Now we want to spend the rest of our lives doing our best to follow Him — striving to live in obedience to His leading and direction.
THE MISSION:
Driven by this desire, our mission is simple: to use music, the arts, and the spoken word to share the love and message of Jesus with as many people as possible in every country on earth.
Since 2012, we’ve had the privilege of performing in more than 40 countries. From intimate acoustic settings to massive venues, we’ve watched God impact hundreds of thousands of people with the message that has changed our lives, and we’ve watched tens of thousands of people experience new life and freedom through relationship with Jesus.
In pursuit of this vision, we’re deeply thankful to serve under the covering of On The Go Ministries of Nashville, TN, in partnership with the Palau Global Network of Evangelists, and in relationship with our local church and churches and ministry partners around the world.
It’s also important to note that our team… is a family. It’s our privilege to travel as an extended family, and we’re committed to using our unique strengths together for the purpose of sharing the message of Jesus around the world.
