Ministry Overview & COVERING

Cyprès is a ministry (and a live-performance band) with a mission to use music and the spoken word to reach as many people as possible — in every country — with the simple message of Jesus, inviting them to experience the freedom and forgiveness available through relationship with Him.

Since 2012, under the ministry covering of Evangelist Keith Cook Sr. and On the Go Ministries (Nashville, NT) and in partnership with the Luis Palau Global Network of Evangelists (Portland, OR) Cyprès has reached hundreds of thousands of people in more than 40 countries with the message of Jesus and has seen tens of thousands of people respond to Jesus and experience forgiveness, freedom, and new life in Him.

The core of the Cyprès team is an extended family, consisting of Zach and Sarah Blickens, Pierre and Sierra Zürcher, and Kailah Blickens — who share a commitment to reach the world with the Gospel. Zach and Kailah are recognized evangelists with the Palau Global Network of Evangelists (GNE), and speak internationally on a regular basis.

The team has traveled directly with Andrew Palau and partnered with a number of international ministries, including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), YWAM, Advancing Church Ministries, the Reid Saunders organization, Lifelight Festivals, LifeFest, and On the Go.  Much of Cyprès’ music has been engineered by the producers responsible for the music of Toby Mac and Lecrae, and the band has opened for a number of major recording artists including Switchfoot, Jeremy Camp, and Redimi2.

The Cyprès team is committed to working in partnership with the local church around the world, and is committed to maintaining a strong relationship with their own home church. Cyprès believes that Jesus Christ is fully God, that salvation is available through Him alone, and that the Bible is the infallible, unchanging Word of God. Each team member is committed to pursuing a lifestyle that is surrendered to Jesus and His commands, and the ministry holds to the Lausanne Covenant of 1974 as an official statement of faith.
