This is the message, the thing that’s changed everything for us — a series of simple, ancient truths that has spanned cultures and generations and brought freedom and true peace to millions around the world.
1) There is a God. He’s not just myth or a legend, but the actual creator of heaven and earth. He’s the one who puts breath in our lungs, He’s good, and He created each of us to have a relationship with Him. “He is the God who made the world and everything in it… in Him we live and move and exist.” —Acts 17:24,28
2) Every one of us have done wrong — we’ve hurt people, broken God’s holy law, and separated ourselves from Him. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” —Rom 3:23
3) Despite our failure and rebellion, God loves us — so much, in fact, that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die and pay the price that we deserve to pay, so that we could be forgiven and reconnected to God. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16
Jesus rose from the dead, and now offers the gift of freedom, forgiveness, and peace for anyone willing to admit their failures, believe in Him, and surrender their life to His perfect leadership. He is literally offering the opportunity to become children of God — it’s GOOD NEWS, and it has changed everything for us. “To all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” —John 1:11
If you'd like to say yes to Jesus, today, we encourage you to do it right now — simply talk to God and tell Him you're ready to surrender your life to Him. “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” —Rom 10:9
Then find someone who you know is following Jesus and tell them what you've done. Welcome home.
