Feeling the nagging pressure of a pressing 'to-do' list and fighting the lingering haze of jet-lag from more than a month overseas, I knew that I needed to produce an end-of-the-year report.
And so I started grinding it out…
I pulled my jacket closer and looked out at a vast expanse of dead farmland and worn-down houses - we had gotten up early in order to cross the Romanian border, and this would be our first event in the Republic of Moldova.
We only had fourteen more events to go.
I really needed a cup of coffee…
Nearly 50 hours spent in sweltering buses, cramped aircraft seats, and stumbling through crowded airport terminals in a fog of sleep-deprivation…
All to play just two events…
And it was absolutely worth it…
