Happy New Year from WRD!
So 2019 has been a pretty crazy year for many of us, and since we're now entering a whole new decade, Kailah and Zach thought it might be a good idea to record an encouraging video message for all of our friends...
Honestly, we think the clip turned out fairly well, but we also discovered something important during our quick video shoot: every time there is a camera pointed at us, we seem to do a lot of ridiculous stuff.
So we decided to share THAT too.
Because everyone makes mistakes.
We just seem to make a lot of them.
On camera.
It might seem like kind of a silly object lesson, but the hard truth is that all of us fail regularly - and not just little slip-ups in front of a camera. Romans 3:23 says that we "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." We've all hurt God and hurt each other, and we all need forgiveness.
It's the reason Jesus came - to pay the price that we deserve to pay. He gave his life as a gift in order to purchase our freedom and re-connection with God.
It's this message that has transformed us and given us new life. It's this message that enables us to be honest with our mistakes and failures, knowing that Jesus has made a way for us to be forgiven and free.
And its this message that we're passionate about sharing with the world in 2020.
